In Hirschthal (Switserland) a LANDY hydropower screw is positioned adjacent to a rubber dam (head 3.5 m). The screw generates energy for some 100 house holds whereas surplus is fed to the grid. The screw dimensions 2.8 m diameter and 10 m length.
