In 2019 the German cities of Beidenfleth and Wewelsfleth decided to build a new oxidation ditch, part of a joint sewage treatment plant, located between the two municipalities in the northernmost state Schleswig-Holstein. After tendering for this project, Landustrie received the order for the supply of two Landy aeration rotors (also called brush aerators), including additional drive units and steel bridge construction. Both aerators (length 2,5 m) now have been assembled and commissioned by Landustrie mechanics. The new units include guide baffles and splash covers. These covers also reduce noise emission and icing.
