Surface aerators

In the field of surface aeration, we have a great deal of experience and knowledge to realise an optimal aeration concept for our customers. To this end, we have a wide range of aerators and propellers to choose from.

We also have specific process technology knowledge of aerators and our own full-scale test tank in which the aerators are tested. The tank has a height-adjustable bridge to simulate lower water levels. Moveable walls can also be used to reduce volume. Besides oxygen measurements, vibration and noise measurements and velocities can also be measured.

In addition, a toolbox has been developed, which tests the operation of aeration systems against practice. The aim of this so-called Installation Check is to optimise aeration, whereby efficiency and sustainability will improve significantly

The efficiencies to be achieved with point aerators depend on a number of conditions, including the geometry of the aeration basins in which the aerator is to serve. The Landustrie aerator can be used for both fixed and floating set-ups. Application is possible in square or rectangular basins, round tanks, shallow and deep tanks, oxidation and bypass ditches, MBR, SBR, lagoons, ponds, mixing or buffer tanks.
