Customised screw pumps for reliable water transport
Looking for a robust solution for pumping large quantities of water? The Landustrie type screw pump offers the solution. For more than a century, we have been producing screw pumps - or Archimedes' screw - for applications in pumping stations, sewage and wastewater treatment plants, irrigation projects and flood management.
In addition to the traditional open screw pump design, we also supply tubular screw pumps. Thanks to the rotating tube, a completely enclosed structure is created, making this design entirely fish-friendly.
Features
The Landustrie screw pump operates on the principle of Archimedes’ screw. Water flows into compartments between the blades at the inlet. The rotating motion and the angled configuration cause the water to be moved upwards in stages.
A screw pump can be used to pump large volumes of water at a relatively low flow rate, without any risk of blockages or damage. This makes the screw pump ideal for continuous use, even with water that is contaminated or contains coarse particles.
As well as the traditional open auger, we also supply the Landustrie tubular auger; a compact and fully enclosed design, making it completely fish-friendly.
