Landox flow boosters

Animation From Film 845x321

The Landox aeration system is based on fine bladed aeration and propulsion of the sludge-water mixture in a horizontally flowing basin. Propulsion takes place with one or more low-speed vertically mounted Landox rotors, positioned in the bends of the aeration circuit. The rotors are suspended on specially developed Landox upper bearings, eliminating the need for underwater bearings. Aeration takes place with aeration elements (ceramic, plastic or membrane) at the bottom of the aeration circuit.

The Landox system creates ideal conditions for aeration with diffusers.

Landox benefits:

  • high oxygen transfer
  • low propulsion energy
  • high overall efficiency
  • low number of propulsion elements
  • no spinning
  • simple, reliable and low-maintenance equipment
  • optimum process control by adjusting aeration capacity, independent of propulsion
  • denitrification easily achievable
  • specially adapted floor ventilation
  • low construction costs due to simple circuit design
  • applicable in existing circuits with surface aerators
