Largest WWTP in Latin America
For Latin America's largest sewage treatment plant, La Farfana in Santiago, Chile, Landustrie supplied five robust screw jacks for the inlet pumping station. Between 600,000 and 700,000 m³ of wastewater is pumped here daily.
This contract was preceded by a rigorous tendering procedure. Besides price, quality and references were explicitly taken into account. Landustrie was chosen because of our proven reliability - an important point, as previous steel jacks failed after only a few years.

What we delivered
For the intake pumping station at this WWTP, we supplied five Landy augers.
The jacks are designed based on the Finite Element Method (FEM). This calculation method maps the complete interplay of forces, under all conditions.
The five augers were delivered including drive and electric controls, and fully assembled on site by us.
Why this solution?
