Landustrie was awarded the contract to carry out all mechanical engineering works for a total of 4 polder pumping stations, all for Water Board Rijnland in the Netherlands. For the renewal of the existing pumping stations in the “Veerpolder”, “Oosteinderpolder” and the “Hellegatspolder”, a new Landy Archimedes screw pump was supplied, including a new drive unit. After completion, the new pumping stations again meet the current requirements with regard to technology and safety.
The “Oude Secretarie” pumping station, located in the “Haarlemmermeerpolder”, is equipped with a new automatic weed screen cleaner. The existing screw pumps have been refurbished in Landustrie’s facilities in Sneek. Also new Landy lower and upper bearings, as well as a new drive units, are installed.
