The Water Authority Hamburg is responsible for the water supply and wastewater treatment of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and now renewed the existing screw pump station at Berzeliusstrasse. Landustrie supplied two Landy Archimedes screw pumps, with a diameter of 2.20 m and a length of 14.50 m. Both screw pumps are positioned in stainless steel screw troughs. The color of the screw coating is remarkable; being one green and one gray. Different coatings were applied here in order to test the coating’s resistance to severe polluted wastewater.
