Hildesheimarchimedesscrewpumps

WWTP Hildesheim (D)

Landustrie renovated the inlet pumping station of the Hildesheim sewage treatment plant in Germany. Two new LANDY augers with a prefab trough were installed here. Of the screw pumps in this pumping station, one screw must be ready for operation at all times. A quick conversion was possible because the selected semi-packaged trough has a very short installation time. The newly delivered augers have a diameter of 2.6 m and a length of 13 m.

Kalundborg WWTP, DK

At RWZI Kalundborg, on the northwest coast of the Danish Seeland, Landust supplied three new Landy screw pumps, fitted with a steel prefab trough. The existing intermediate pumping station at the treatment plant had to be renovated here, to meet the required higher capacity and head in the future. The modification also resulted in higher efficiency.

Screw pump station Épinal, Vosges (F)

A new whitewater course has been built in Épinal, located in the Vosges Mountains (F). The unique sports centre will not only be used for recreational sports, but will be the training site for whitewater athletes during the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Havannah weir, Cheshire UK

For the Havannah weir, located in a new inlet of the River Dane, near Congleton (Cheshire, UK), Landustrie supplied a Landy hydropower auger. This sustainable green project is an initiative of Dane Valley Community Energy, in partnership with Derwent Hydro Developments Ltd.

Latin America's largest sewage treatment plant, La Farfana, in Chile's capital Santiago, has been fitted with five new LANDY augers. The augers are installed in the intake pumping station, where some 6-7 hundred thousand m3 of wastewater is pumped into the treatment process every day.

For two sewage treatment plants of the Waterschap Brabantse Delta, Landustrie supplied brush aerators, also known as aeration rotors. The design of the aerators is unique. Normally, the brushes are permanently mounted between the walls of an aeration basin. Now, however, a special floating construction has been used.

The sewage treatment plant in the Jebel Ali neighbourhood in Dubai's southern district has been scaled up and expanded. The amount of cubic metres of sewage treated per day has been increased from 300,000 to 675,000

As a subcontractor to VBK Hoorn, Landustrie supplied the mechanical works (4th phase) for RWZI Everstekoog at De Koog on Texel. This concerned the belt filter installation, the polymer make-up and dosing installation, the air compressor installation and the underwater mixer in the thickened sludge buffer.

Commissioned by the Zuiderzeeland Water Board, Landustrie renovated the Piet Oberman polder pumping station in Tollebeek. The open screw pump dating from the 1970s was fitted with new parts and converted from a grease-lubricated to a water-lubricated pump. The non-return valves and control box were also renewed.

Tjuchem screw pump station (NL)

Commissioned by the Waterschap Hunze en Aa's, Landustrie carried out the overhaul of the screw pump of the pumping station Wold en Weer in Tjuchem (Groningen). The more than 40-year-old screw pump, supplied at the time by third parties, was repaired in the production hall in Sneek.

Agriport pumping station (NL)

On behalf of KWS Infra, Landustrie supplied and installed four pumps at a newly constructed industrial estate in North Holland. The pumping station is equipped with new LANDY screw pumps type P400 (3 + 1 spare). These pumps discharge rainwater into the surface water.

The construction of the new provincial road N381 from Drachten to the German border near Emmen has been completed. For this extensive project, Landustrie supplied various pumping installations for the newly constructed tunnels along the route. In addition, a new polder pumping station was built at the Wijnjewoude exit.
