Protection for German residential area
In Lingen, Germany, four powerful Landustrie screw pumps provide reliable flood protection for the Reuschberge district, near Lingen. Each auger has a length of around 9 metres and a capacity of 14,400 m³/h - precisely designed to quickly discharge excess water in emergency situations.
Should the water from the river Lingener Mühlenbach exceed the maximum permissible water level in the Ems, this pumping station comes into action. The screw pumps are only deployed during high water, ensuring the safety of residents and infrastructure.
