Almere sewage pumping station (NL)

The Zuiderzeeland Water Board in Lelystad awarded us the contract to renovate the RG220 Markerkant sewerage pumping station. The pumping station, built in 2000, is equipped with dry mounted pumps and has a capacity of 1200 m3/h. Renovation was necessary to apply the latest techniques in the field of pumping. To this end, not only was the electromechanical installation of the pumping station renewed, but structural modifications were also required. The pumping station was equipped with two new pumps, each with a capacity of 110 kW. These pumps were tested and trialed at our own test site in Sneek. We are one of the few companies in the Netherlands with a fully equipped test stand where pumps of any make can be tested.
