Renovation of Oijen WWTP
The Oijen wastewater treatment plant required renovation after fifty years of operation. In late 2020, the modernisation of the existing facility began, introducing new technologies and upgraded components to improve performance and reliability.
At the treatment plant, we not only refurbished the sludge return screw pumps, but also supplied new Landustrie influent screw pumps.
In the aeration circuit, the existing aerators were replaced with new Landustrie surface aerators. To keep the aeration process operational during the renovation works, we used a temporary floating aerator (see photo).
Efficient renovation with minimum disruption
During the renovation and quality upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant, one objective was central: achieving maximum impact with minimal disruption. Thanks to our approach, strong value-for-money proposition and focus on minimising interference with plant operations, Landustrie was awarded the contract.

Landustrie provides smart and reliable solutions for a wide range of applications. Our products are successfully used in the construction and renovation of wastewater treatment plants, in (polder) pumping stations and in water transport installations.
All products are designed and manufactured in-house at our facility in Sneek, Friesland. Thanks to our team of certified technicians, we can also take care of installation and commissioning. After delivery, we provide an extensive service package to ensure optimal operation and reliable support.
