At the wastewater treatment plant of the city of Oijen (The Netherlands), ten existing surface aerators, back then also supplied by Landustrie, are now being replaced by new high-efficiency, low-vibration Landy-7 aerators. To keep the aeration process operational at the sewage treatment plant, a temporary floating Landy aerator is used. Now, each aerator can be exchanged quickly and efficiently, consecutively per zone in the oxidation ditch. Before delivery, the aerator has already been successfully tested in Landustrie’s full-scale test tank.

In months ahead, Landustrie will also renovate the Archimedes screw pumps of the return sludge pumping station, and supply new Landy screw pumps for the influent pumping station.
