These plastic aerators consumed a relatively large amount of energy and were no longer in line with the paper mill\u2019s sustainability and efficiency targets. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this project, we supplied five Landustrie surface aerators, type Landy-7. The new aerators were specially designed to connect directly to the existing gearboxes and the existing bridge. This meant that no costly structural modifications were required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aerators are controlled by oxygen sensors and a time-controlled regulation system, which ensures that the oxygen supply to the tank is continuously optimised. A specialist diving team was deployed to remove the old plastic aerators. Due to the enclosed concrete structure, dismantling them was no easy task.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:48%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ms-container
