Onderdeel van de restauratie en renovatie van de stuw is het plaatsen van vijzelturbines voor het opwekken van duurzame energie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bij de aanbesteding, uitgeschreven door ACAL (R\u00e9gion Alsace Champagne-Ardenne Lorraine) was de innovatieve uitvoering van de Landustrie waterkrachtvijzels doorslaggevend. De vijzels zullen elk ca 30 kW aan energie gaan opwekken bij een capaciteit van 3 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/sec en een verval van 1,4 meter. Inbedrijfstelling van de waterkrachtcentrale zal medio 2017 gaan plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voor Landustrie is dit inmiddels het zevende waterkrachtproject in Frankrijk Het betreft hier de pomptypes BSP 22-05 en BSP 22-08.\r\n\r\nDe testresultaten zijn positief en het rendement van de pomp is gelijk aan de gerenommeerde onderwaterpomp, ook wel bekend als de Wetterfretter (DSP type). In nauwe samenwerking met sociale werkvoorziening Amfors Groep, renoveerde Landustrie de besturing van deze minigemalen in de gemeente. Aan de hand van door Landustrie geleverde demokasten realiseerde het metaalbedrijf van Amfors (Metafors) de schakelkasten en de bijbehorende buitenopstellingskasten. Oude schakelkasten zijn door hen gedemonteerd en nauwkeurig gescheiden, gecontroleerd\u00a0 en waar mogelijk gerecycled.
