Additional aeration capacity WWTP

For the sewage treatment plants in Chaam and Lage Zwaluwe, Landustrie supplied floating brush aerators to Waterschap Brabantse Delta. This flexible solution provides extra oxygen capacity during peak loads, such as in the tourist season.

The aerators were extensively tested beforehand at our production site in Sneek. Thanks to this mobile configuration, the water board has a reliable and fast solution with minimal impact on the process.

What we delivered

We supplied a floating brush aerator for both the Chaam and Lage Zwaluwe sewage treatment plants. Instead of a fixed installation in the aeration basin, the aerators are equipped with a special floating construction.

This allows them to be easily deployed in existing bypass ditches to complement existing point aerators. In case of increased oxygen demand, e.g. due to seasonal influences, aeration can be quickly scaled up and accurately adjusted.
