Modernising water infrastructure in Tunisia
In close cooperation with our Tunisian representative EMC (Entreprise Mongi Charabi), five high-quality weedscreen cleaners with control systems were delivered for the modernisation project of the Medjerda-Cap Bon canal in north-east Tunisia. The 120-kilometre-long canal plays an important role in the irrigation of agricultural areas as well as the region's drinking water supply.
Under the supervision of our own team, the installations were carefully assembled and commissioned for main contractor SOCOOPEC.

What we delivered
For this project, Landustrie supplied a total of five weedscreen cleaners of type R66, our robust solution for maximum cleaning capacity. Two units were placed at Bejaoua pumping station, the remaining three at control valves along the canal.
Our engineers provided prior on-site measurement and trained the local team in operation and maintenance so that the installations could be commissioned independently and reliably.
The weedscreen cleaners supplied are type R66. This design offers the highest cleaning capacity and is extremely suitable for large pumping stations.
