Screw pumping stations
The auger, or Archimedes' screw, consists of an angled tube with blades, which, while rotating, raises a (waste) water to a higher level.
Applications of the mortar :
- influent pumping station
- intermediate pumping station
- return sludge pumping station
- irrigation
- drainage
- polder pumping stations
- circulation in aeration systems
- white-water slides in amusement parks
- industrial applications
- storm water applications
- auger generator/hydropower auger
The augers can be produced in both steel epoxy-coated and stainless steel versions. Arrangement of the augers is possible in both concrete and steel troughs. For special applications, there is a self-supporting steel trough. The augers can also be supplied as complete prefab units or as tubular augers. All our Landustrie augers are designed using computer calculation programmes.
Properties :
- open blockage-free, simple and robust construction
- high efficiency, low maintenance and low operating costs
- high reliability, long service life and low wear
- automatic adjustment of pump capacity to the supply
- large area of application, capacity from 10 to 11,500 l/s, head from 0 to 25 m.
- Capacity changes are easy and, if necessary, infinitely variable
- insensitive to flow conditions and no cavitation due to low speeds
