A pump that makes short work of fibre wipes

Our range of robust pumps with cutting mechanism is specially designed for handling wastewater containing solids. Where most pumps merely grind the solid material, the cutting mechanism in the pump ensures that solids are cut up. Chopped particles pass through without damaging the cutting device, ensuring a long service life. If necessary, the cutting device can be easily replaced.

The pumps are designed, assembled and tested entirely in-house. After this, we provide the pump with a unique pump number and a test graph.

Features

This robust cutting pump is specially designed for reliable pumping of sewage and wastewater containing solids such as wipes, fibres or coarse dirt. Thanks to the integrated cutting mechanism, these particles are first efficiently cut into small pieces. This allows them to be discharged without blockage through pipework with a diameter of only 32 mm - ideal for compact systems and cost savings on infrastructure.

The pump has been known in the Netherlands for years as Wetterfretter, and has proven to be the solution to persistent clogging problems. The combination of high working pressure and low energy consumption also makes it possible to use long discharge lines without the need for heavier motors.

Moreover, multiple plants can be connected to a single drain line, making the system easily expandable and efficient to use.

Commissioned by the Municipality of Zutphen, the sewage pumping station on the Valckstraat, dating from 1969, was renewed. The old pumping station was also supplied by Landustrie at the time. Now the electro-mechanical part has been completely renewed. The two old steel pump pits have been removed and replaced by concrete units. Furthermore, the pumping station is equipped with 3 Landy DTP pumps, each with a capacity of 200 m3/hour.

Noorderzijlvest water board (NL)

The renovation of nine sewage pumping stations in the province of Groningen has been completed. Landustrie will now maintain and manage the pumping stations for the Noorderzijlvest Water Board for three years. The pumping stations in question are Altena, Nieuw Roden, Leermens, Oosterwijtwerd, Westeremden, Ulrum, Saaksum, Garnwerd and DOMO-Bedum. Tendering took place on the basis of "Best Value Procurement" (BVP) at the time.

One of the spearheads of the new design was the disconnection of rainwater.
