Deelbrügge water mill (D)

For the 170-year-old water mill Deelbrügge (located on the river Lune, between Bremen and Bremerhaven), we delivered and installed a new Landustrie auger in spring 2019. This auger pumps water up to the level of the water wheel (1.5 metres).
Thus, after several decades, the watermill has been reconnected to the Lune and the water wheel can again be operated by hydropower. The aim of the project is to create a nature reserve along the watercourse.

This is a compact auger with easy assembly and short installation time. Using a timer, the local community can programme the running times of the auger and the system is automatically switched off when the water level is low.
