Stuttgart-Mühlhausen WWTP (D)

Landustrie Hkw Stuttgart Muhlhausen 1 845x321

Landustrie was commissioned to build a number of new jacks and renovate some existing ones at Stuttgart-Mühlhausen WWTP, the largest sewage treatment plant (1.2 million IE) in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The augers to be renovated will pump wastewater from the secondary settling tank to the inlet of the sand filter, which will be extended in the near future with a fourth treatment step.
In addition, the screw pumping station serves as a flood pumping station so that the sewage treatment plant remains operational even in the event of a flood. After the wastewater treatment process is completed, the treated water is returned to the Neckar river.

Four existing augers were refurbished and one new auger was delivered. The new auger has a diameter of 2.6 m and a length of 12.1 m. The four existing augers are blasted and recoated and then reassembled with new drive units and auger bearings by our service team in Stuttgart.
