Olzendepolder sewerage pumping station (NL)

Together with the municipality of Reimerswaal, a design was realised for optimising the Olzendepolder sewerage pumping station in Yerseke. The pumping station is located near the Olzendepolder industrial estate, where the pumping station has to deal with peaks in the water supply. One of the spearheads of the new design was the disconnection of rainwater.

Renovation of the pumps and pipework ensured that the pumping station is once again reliable and future-proof.
Given the varying presence of dirt in the sewage, dirt-cutting pumps were chosen. To make the entire renovation as flawless as possible, a traffic plan was also drawn up in consultation with the municipality to minimise traffic disruption.
