Main sewerage pumping station Dordrecht (NL)
Dordrecht's main sewage pumping station at Montessorilaan has been adapted to current times. Due to the changed composition of sewage water (higher concentration), wear on the cast-iron impellers and wear rings of the pumps dating from 1971 increased.
The three screw centrifugal pumps we installed at the time are now fitted with wear-resistant Duplex impellers and wear rings. With this modification, the pumps again deliver the same efficiency as when they were newly built in 1971. The dry-set type SSC pumps are characterised by their clog-free design.
