For the 170-year-old Deelbrügge watermill (located on the Lune river, between Bremen and Bremerhaven), Landustrie delivered and installed a new LANDY screw pump, in spring 2019. This Archimedean screw pump lifts the river water towards the water wheel (level 1.5 meters).
Now, after a few decades, the water mill is reconnected to the Lune river and the water wheel operational again. The aim of the project is to create a nature reserve along the river.
The screw pump supplied is a so-called compact screw with short and simple assembly. By means of a timer, the local community can program the rotation times of the screw pump and the system is automatically switched off when the water level is low
