On behalf of KWS Infra, Landustrie Sneek bv is supplying a dozen pumps for a new business park in North Holland.

Six submersible pumps with Vortex impeller ensure, that all condensation water is drained to the sewer. In addition, four new screw pumps of type P400 (3 + 1 reserve). These pumps discharge rainwater to surface water.
The original P400 pump was used specifically for polder drainage in the early 1980s. Meanwhile, the design has been updated and adapted to today's drive technology. As a result, the pump still offers an excellent solution for pumping large quantities of water at low delivery heads. The robust design also makes the pump very maintenance-friendly.

All pumps are supplied and installed by Landustrie with the corresponding discharge piping and controls.

Major hydro project in Alsace

The existing Steinsau weir on the River Ill near Erstein is being fitted with six pieces of LANDY hydropower jacks. The weir dates from the late 19th century and ensures that the downstream regions of Erstein and Strasbourg are not flooded during high water. Part of the restoration and renovation of the weir is the installation of screw turbines to generate renewable energy.

Hoorn pumping stations ready for future

Commissioned by the Municipality of Hoorn, Landustrie has started renovating six sewerage pumping stations. The new pumping stations will meet the requirements of Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier. The higher water board is taking over the entire management and maintenance of these pumping stations from the municipality.

Renovation of Tjuchem screw pumping station

Commissioned by the Hunze en Aa's Water Board, Landustrie is carrying out the overhaul of the Wold en Weer pumping station in Tjuchem. The more than 40-year-old screw pump, delivered at the time by third parties, is now being repaired in Sneek. Earlier, Landustrie also repaired the other screw pump (2 in total).

On Thursday 9 November 2020, the renovated 300 mini pumping stations commissioned by the Municipality of Leusden went into operation. Working closely with social employment service Amfors Groep, Landustrie renovated the controls of these mini pumping stations in the municipality. On the basis of demo cabinets supplied by Landustrie, Amfors' metal company (Metafors) realised the switchboxes and the corresponding outdoor installation cabinets. Old switchboxes were dismantled by them and carefully separated, checked and recycled where possible. The proceeds from the recycling were donated to KiKa.

Modification of polder pumping stations

In mid-2019, Landustrie was awarded the extensive contract by Van Boekel Bouw & Infra to carry out all mechanical engineering works of a total of four polder pumping stations, located in the Rijnland Water Board. For the replacement of the three existing pumping stations in the Veerpolder, Oosteinderpolder and Hellegatspolder, a new Landy auger was delivered and assembled, including a new drive unit.

New pump series tested

The new range of dry-mounted pumps with cutting device has been tested. These are the pump types BSP 22-05 and BSP 22-08. The test results are positive and the pump efficiency is equal to the renowned submersible pump, also known as the Wetterfretter (DSP type). These pumps with cutting device cut the solids in the wastewater into small particles, which are then pumped through the pipework (dia. 32 mm) without any problems.
