Masterclass in blade adjustment
Need to adjust the cutting mechanism of our LANDY dirt cutting sewer pumps yourself? You can! Visit our masterclass at the Infra Relatiedagen in Hardenberg (6-8 February 2024).
On the second day of the fair, Wednesday 7 February, our service technician Marcel Dijkstra will demonstrate cutting blade adjustment at both 2pm and 4pm on our stand no. 586.
A properly adjusted cutting mechanism of the pump is crucial for the continued optimum efficiency of the pump. However, the cutting blade is subject to wear and tear and, depending on the pumped medium, will affect the pump's operation over time.
We can replace the cutting equipment for you, but it is also easy to carry out yourself, provided the correct procedure is followed. Marcel will be happy to explain this procedure to you!
The pump types for which the master class is intended are our slicing type DSP (submersible pump) and BSP (dry mounted) pumps. The submersible pump is also known as our renowned "Wetterfretter".
These pumps are ideal for clog-free pumping of wastewater containing solids, even those that do not actually belong in wastewater (fibre cloths and more). The pump's unique cutting mechanism ensures that these materials are cut into very small particles so that the pump does not clog.
Of course, we will also gladly inform you about our other pump types during the Infra Relatiedagen. Not yet in possession of a ticket? Click here for free entrance.
And are you unable to attend our master class, but would still like to know how the adjustment is done? Then watch our instruction video.
See you at the Evenementenhal in Hardenberg!
