Alsace hydroelectric power station

In the river Ill located near Colmar in Alsace, France, a hydropower plant has been realised with two pieces of Landy hydropower jacks. The existing weir has been completely renovated and will provide green power to about 250 households with the new 190kW plant.
Both augers, manufactured in Sneek, have a diameter and length of about 4 metres.
On site, the jacks were assembled by Landustrie's French partner, ER3i.  Peduzzi Bâtiment was responsible for the civil work.
