Infra Relatiedagen Hardenberg

From Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 February 2023, Landustrie will be present at the Infra Relatiedagen in Hardenberg. You will find us at stand no. 445 in hall 4. We will not only show our extensive range of Landy sewage pumps and accompanying control/telemetry systems, but also our service department which is on standby 24/7 from Sneek and Veenendaal.

Oijen WWTP, new spot aerators

At the Aa and Maas Water Board's Oijen sewage treatment plant, the existing surface aerators, at the time also supplied by Landustrie, are being replaced by new high-efficiency, low-vibration Landy-7 aerators (10 in total). To keep the aeration process operational at the treatment plant, a temporary floating Landy aerator will be used. This allows a quick change of spot aerator per leg in the aeration basins. Before delivery, the aerator has already been successfully tested in our own full-scale test tank in Sneek.

Chain cleaners for Derby, UK

Through ACE Aquatic Control Engineering, our regular UK representation for Landy duckweed fence cleaners, Landustrie received the order to supply 3 chain cleaners. These fully automatic duckweed fence cleaners will be placed in front of the inlet of the Mill Fleam pumping station. This prevents floating debris from flowing through the inlet and damaging the pumps.

Augers for white-water course

A new whitewater course has been built in Épinal, located in the Vosges Mountains (F). The unique sports centre will not only be used for recreational sports, but will be the training site for whitewater athletes during the Paris Olympics in 2024.

winner Global Water Awards 2022

We are very proud, that the RecoLab project in the Oceanhamnen district of Helsingborg (Sweden) has won the Global Water Awards 2022 in the category "Wastewater Project of the Year"! Landustrie delivered a new sustainable decentralised wastewater treatment plant (2300IE) here in 2021, based on Desah BV's innovative design. With the design for this applied sanitation system, DeSaH won the Swedish innovation prize in the "Blackwater and Food Waste Challenge" in the "Treatment Plant" category in 2015, aimed at recycling waste streams.

AQUA NL trade fair

From 15 to 17 March 2022, we will be at the AQUA Netherlands trade fair in Gorinchem, at stand L.106. We look forward to meeting you again at this event. We will be happy to show you our activities in the field of wastewater treatment, (sewer) pumping stations, pump installations and more!

Hydropower jack in unique location

With the first major transport in the new year 2022, a prefabricated Landy hydropower screw will be heading to France. The screw pump will be installed by ER3i, Landustrie's French partner, at a very special location. In Guérigny, located on the Nièvre river are the historic royal forges, les Forges Royales, dating back to the 17th century. The auger is designed as a compact unit (prefabricated), which speeds up installation considerably.

WWTP Beidenfleth

In 2019, the municipalities of Beidenfleth and Wewelsfleth, located in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, decided to build a new joint sewage treatment plant. Following the tender for this project, Landustrie received the order to supply two units of Landy brush aerators for the aeration tank, here implemented as an oxidation ditch.

Successful KIWA audit

In late October 2021, KIWA's annual audit of the standard BRL14020 was successfully completed. The audit, consisting of 2 parts has therefore shown no deficiencies. The BRL14020 is a standard/assessment guideline for the quality-controlled maintenance of pump installations and pumping stations and of interest to, among others, maintenance companies, municipalities, water boards and purification boards.

Alsace hydroelectric power station

In the river Ill located near Colmar in Alsace, France, a hydropower plant has been realised with two Landy hydropower weirs. The existing weir has been completely renovated and will supply around 250 households with green electricity with the new 190kW plant.
