Zutphen sewage pumping station (NL)
On behalf of the Municipality of Zutphen, the 1969 sewerage pumping station on Valckstraat was renovated. We had also supplied the old pumping station at the time. Now the electro-mechanical part has been completely renewed. The two old steel pumping stations were removed and replaced by concrete units. The pumping station was also equipped with three Landustrie pumps of the DTP type, each with a capacity of 200 m3/hour.
The control box is equipped with a frequency converter and the Landy pumping station computer works with Landy-LESS software. This software makes the pumping station energy-efficient; it allows the pumps to run at a lower speed. Any clogging of the pump can be detected early, after which the pump impeller changes direction of rotation and releases the dirt/clogging material.
