Warburg WWTP
Landustrie received a contract from Stadt Warburg (D) for the conversion and renovation of the mortar ground at the Warburg and Daseburg sewage treatment plant.
At the Warburg WWTP, located in the Diemel Valley, the existing intermediate pumping station was equipped with three new Landy screw pumps. This pumping station pumps the return sludge from the three post-sedimentation tanks. All three screw pumps are equipped with a compact screw trough in a self-supporting construction. We also provided the complete drive system.
Also, the intermediate pumping station at RWZI Daseburg was upgraded with two new Landy pipe jacks, also in compact design. This pumping station pumps return sludge at the sewage treatment plant.
The dismantling of the existing and fitting of the new jacks had to take place while the plant remained in operation. The jacks were taken out of service and replaced successively, within an eight-hour specification. All this during a period of dry weather.
