Green energy through local initiative
For the Havannah weir, part of a new inlet to the River Dane near Congleton (UK), we supplied a Landustrie hydropower auger. The project is a local sustainable initiative by Dane Valley Community Energy, in cooperation with Derwent Hydro Developments Ltd.
Despite travel restrictions by COVID-19, the installation was successfully carried out by local partners, under the supervision of our remote engineers. A fine example of cooperation, even in a hard-to-reach location.
