Renovation of Oijen WWTP
The Oijen sewage treatment plant was in need of renovation after 50 years. Modernisation of the existing WWTP started at the end of 2020 and new technologies were implemented, among other things.
At the treatment plant, we not only overhauled the sludge return augers, but also supplied new Landustrie influent augers.
In addition, in the aeration circuit, the existing aerators were replaced by new Landustrie surface aerators. To keep the aeration process operational, we used a temporary floating aerator (see photo) during the works.
Smart renovation with minimum disruption
The renovation and quality improvement of the sewage treatment plant had one aim: maximum impact with minimum disruption. Thanks to our approach, strong value for money and focus on minimising disruption to the business process, we were awarded the contract.

Landustrie offers smart and reliable solutions for a wide range of applications. Our products are successfully applied in new construction and renovation of wastewater treatment plants, in (polder) pumping stations and in pump installations.
All products are designed and manufactured in-house in Sneek, Friesland. Thanks to our team of certified technicians, we can also take care of installation and commissioning. After delivery, we are ready with an extensive service package to ensure optimal operation and support.
