WWTP Beidenfleth

In 2019, the municipalities of Beidenfleth and Wewelsfleth, located in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, decided to build a new joint sewage treatment plant. Following the tender for this project, Landustrie received the order to supply two units of Landy brush aerators for the aeration tank, here implemented as an oxidation ditch.

Successful KIWA audit

In late October 2021, KIWA's annual audit of the standard BRL14020 was successfully completed. The audit, consisting of 2 parts has therefore shown no deficiencies. The BRL14020 is a standard/assessment guideline for the quality-controlled maintenance of pump installations and pumping stations and of interest to, among others, maintenance companies, municipalities, water boards and purification boards.

Alsace hydroelectric power station

In the river Ill located near Colmar in Alsace, France, a hydropower plant has been realised with two Landy hydropower weirs. The existing weir has been completely renovated and will supply around 250 households with green electricity with the new 190kW plant.

Landust renovated three sewage pumping stations in Doorn for the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. New LANDY pumps were supplied and installed for the pumping stations on Oranjelaan, Breullaan and Horstlaan, together with the associated piping and controls.

With the demise of Cicruit Switched Data (CSD) dial-up technology, Municipality of Koggenland was forced to find another communication solution for its 650-plus sewer pumping stations. To this end, the control systems had to be converted to be ready for a future focused on the 4G network.

Modification of polder pumping stations

In mid-2019, Landustrie was awarded the extensive contract by Van Boekel Bouw & Infra to carry out all mechanical engineering works of a total of four polder pumping stations, located in the Rijnland Water Board. For the replacement of the three existing pumping stations in the Veerpolder, Oosteinderpolder and Hellegatspolder, a new Landy auger was delivered and assembled, including a new drive unit.
