Largest hydropower auger
The world's largest hydropower screw has been manufactured at Landustrie so far. The 5-metre diameter screw is destined for a project in England and will generate around 355 kW of green power.
Due to the dimensions of the screw pump, it will be transported by ship. The photos show embarkation of the screw pump and the accompanying screw trough from its own quay in Sneek.
